I keep a list of heroes in my life.  On my list are the nurses and doctors helping children at cancer research and treatment centers throughout the United States.  These professionals give of themselves and fight for the lives of those unable to understand a world that is void of compassion and loving concern.  These health professionals are the antithesis of the world of 2016 and bring love, understanding, and gentleness to those who are suffering. Their goal is to cure and their mission is to do this so that all patients live without suffering. The nurses and doctors in pediatric cancer centers are examples of the MOST beautiful people in the world.

The entire staff of health care providors helping seniors in skilled nursing facilities and in hospice centers including doctors, nurses, rehabilitators, physical therapists, and mental health providers are all my heroes.  The adult children and skilled professionals helping parents with Alzheimer's and dimentia are also a part of my profile of the most beautiful people in the world.  Kindness, love, and nurturing at the expense and sacrifice of personal time and freedom ARE hallmarks of these incredible people.
